November 27, 2007 (Fairfax District, Los Angeles, CA) – Fairfax Business Association is actively recruiting Fairfax Avenue merchants and local residences to become members in the newly emerging organization, designed to bring change to the community. Led by community leaders from local businesses, Fairfax High School Revitalization Committee and Mid City WEST Community Council, the organization hopes to create an overall district that is clean, safe and economically vital.

Fairfax Avenue merchants and residential neighbors from Wilshire Blvd. to West Hollywood are invited to the inaugural FBA Meet-and-Greet membership event on Wednesday, December 12, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, at Chameau Restaurant, 339 N. Fairfax Avenue. RSVPs are encouraged by calling 323.634.4945.

Fairfax Village has seen a recent resurgence in popularity among new store merchants and visitors alike, organically developing into a bustling community and destination. There is a need for enhanced beautification and revitalization of the street and an overall organized approach to community issues. Volunteers are needed to join, attend meetings, work together on planned projects and to make a difference in their community. More information can be found online at www.fbala.com.
